Bungie To Show Off New Social Area The Reef Next Week

House of Wolves was announced this week, revealing that the Destiny DLC will be landing with us in May. One of the new features that has players excited is The Reef. This will act as a new social space for the entire game.

As of right now, we don't have a great idea as to what that means. Will it contain all the same things that the tower has at its disposal? Or will it function completely differently and offer new services?

Those questions will be answered on Wednesday it seems. In a community blog post, Bungie said:

You're invited to visit The Reef with us next week.

We'll tackle these burning curiosities:

Who will issue our new walking orders?

What do we stand to gain from this alliance?

I know I'll be watching. This feels like one of the first big actual changes in a Destiny expansion. Even if it does end up being a reskin of the Tower, a change of scenery can go a long way in changing up an experience.
