Catch Up On The Lore Of The Witcher 3 In This Recap Trailer – Also Witcher 2 Is Free On Xbox 360

The Witcher 3 is one of the most anticipated games of this year and there has been a noticeable jump in interest from the previous iterations in the series. The graphics, gameplay and ambition seem to have caught a lot of new players' interest and that is great.

The Witcher games are really dense and long, though. CD Projekt Red aren't known for hanging around too long to catch people up, either. So the question becomes: What do they do with all of these new players who don't know the story and are unfamiliar with the lore?

Well, this trailer is a small step in catching them up. If you are new to the series and interested in The Witcher 3, or even if you just want to watch a cool little animated bit of lore, you could do worse than this clip.

Or, you know, you could get first hand experience and play through The Witcher 2. The game is now free on the Games with Gold service for the Xbox 360. That will be a better primer than a 100 videos could be, I'm sure.
