DC TV Comedy "Powerless" Gets A Premiere Date

NBC revealed its mid-season schedule today, and that means we finally have a premiere date for Powerless, the single camera comedy about an insurance company in the DC Universe. Starring Vanessa Hudgens, Danny Pudi, Christina Kirk, and Alan Tudyk, Powerless lost its showrunner and series creator, Ben Queen, in August. That hasn't delayed the show, however, as DC properties are used to running as rudderless ships. Just look at the comics division over the past decade. Anyway, Powerless is set to debut on Thursday, February 2 at 8:30PM Eastern. The show is expected to air on NBC for one season before being moved to The CW, where all DC shows are destined to ultimately reside.

Personally, we only really care about shows based on comic books, but if you're interested, here's the rest of the shows debuting early next year from NBC:

8:30 p.m. ET/PT — Powerless

About Jude Terror

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
