Dwayne Johnson is Super Excited for Hobbs and Shaw
Love him or hate him no one can deny that Dwayne Johnson has a ton of charisma and enthusiasm. There hasn't been a single movie he's released where it didn't seem like he was about to release a dream project of his that was years in the making. It's endearing and it looks like his Fast and Furious spin-off Hobbs and Shaw, staring himself and Jason Statham, won't be the exception. Johnson took to instagram to express how excited he is to read the script and that we should expect casting announcements soon.
Production for Hobbs and Shaw is set to start production this September, it'll be directed by David Leitch, and it has a release date of July 26th, 2019. The Fast and Furious series has made $5.1 billion in the worldwide box office and has been keeping the lights on at Universal Pictures since 2001.
