Escape Room Asks You to Find a Way Out in New Trailer

Escape Room hits theaters on January 4, 2019, and earlier today Sony dropped the first trailer for the psychological thriller. In the film, six strangers are offered a way out of their lives if they can figure out a way to escape…well the Escape Room. All kinds of obstacles and traps follow, and I am surprised that the film's tagline isn't "What would you do to escape?". Check out the actually really cool trailer below:

Six strangers find themselves in circumstances beyond their control and must use their wits to survive.

This surprisingly looks like it may be okay. I have never been in one of the non-horror film, every day escape/survival rooms, but I have heard from people that they are fun. I know if I got locked into a room turning into a furnace that I would just curl up into a ball and die, so that scene terrifies me. It was inevitable that eventually someone would make a film about these things anyway, so hopefully this one lives up to the promise of the trailer. Also: way to steal the credits song from Weeds movie!
