Rumor: Filming for Channing Tatum's Gambit Pushed Back One Month to March
A new report has surfaced claiming that production on Gambit, the X-Men spinoff spearheaded by Channing Tatum, has been pushed back to March. Tatum is set to star in the film and is also producing it. Tatum is joined by Lizzy Caplan in the Gore Verbinski film. Omega Underground has the report on the production start change, which they oddly claim is "confirmed from an official source," though they don't say who the source is. That sounds more like an anonymous source, but we're just splitting hairs we suppose.
We've long theorized that the supposed Gambit movie was actually just an elaborate practical joke whose punchline is funny only to Channing Tatum, but over the past few months the movie has gotten a new director, signed cast members, and set a release date, forcing us to admit that, unless everyone is in on it — a possibility we're not totally ruling out — Gambit is a real movie that will actually hit theaters on Valentine's Day, 2019.
Well, that is if they manage to get it filmed by then with these delays.
