First Teaser Trailer for the Live-Action Dumbo Remake
We have a late night teaser drop from Disney tonight. We got a first look at the live-action remake of Dumbo by director Tim Burton. This is the first time we've publicly seen footage from this remake. It appears to be a longer version of the trailer that people saw at CinemaCon back in April. This is the first time anyone has seen Dumbo in action before and he looks pretty spectacular.
On top of our lovely new teaser trailer we also got an extended summary of the movie that tells us a bit more about this story.
From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, the all-new grand live-action adventure "Dumbo" expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.
Dumbo is a classic which a lot of fans hold dear. The fact that the trailer is playing a haunting version of one of the most devastating moments in classic Disney movies. It also has a spectacular cast and the Disney remakes have thus far been either really good (The Jungle Book, Cinderella) and pretty damn good (Beauty and the Beast). Let's how this one goes.
Dumbo will be released on March 29th, 2019.
