When Five Nights At Freddy's was picked up for a movie adaption by Warner Brothers, I saw a lot of people complaining. I understand if you frequent the internet a lot, it can feel its over done, but it's a great idea. The concept behind the game is really good basis for a horror movie. A worker who has to look after anamatronic characters that try to kill him after the lights go out? Sign me up.
As if to point out that potential, here is a short fan film by Typhoon Cinema that hits the right tone. Personally, I think you can strip this down even further, but it's an effective showpiece none the less.
Thanks to Destructoid for pointing it out.
