Gabe Newell Is Now A Boss In Indie Game Crawl
Valve CEO Gabe Newell is often talked about as some mythical being in the games industry. He's seen, as if in fable, as the gate keeper of the Half Life franchise and the summoner of Steam Sales.
However, his newest role is quite interesting. The man behind Valve is to be a game boss in the early access indie game Crawl. Interestingly, the developer made the choice to include him as a boss before asking him or his company first, but it turns out that isn't an issue. Developer Powerhoof posted that this had been given the okay regardless.
@Powerhoof short sweet email from Valve today giving the go ahead for this silly thing :) turns out Valve are cool- who knew?

Here is a gif of 'Gaben' in action in the game.
Now, can the Powerhoof get Phil Spencer, Shuhei Yoshida and Shigeru Iwata in? That is the real question.
