The Get Down's Shameik Moore To Voice Miles Morales
Sony has tapped actor Shameik Moore to voice Miles Morales in an upcoming animated Spider-Man project. Little is known about it so far, but it's being put together by Phil Lord and Chris Miller and Liev Schreiber is on board to play the villain.
Moore started his career with television series including Tyler Perry's House of Pain, Reed Between The Lines and Joyful Noise before landing as one of the leads on the Netflix series The Get Down.
Liev Schreiber currently stars in the Showtime series Ray Donovan, but has previously been a villain in the Marvel Universe having been cast as Sabertooth in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Lord and Miller have worked on The LEGO Movie, the LEGO Batman Movie and are behind the Son of Zorn series, The Last Man on Earth and Making History.
