Remember that Metal Gear Online reveal during the Game Awards? Well, Kojima Productions have finally given us a more incite into that footage.
The developer released this commentary, picking up on a few features of online play and explaining their mechanics. In case you hadn't figured it out yet, they even tell you why a plush puppy is an important weapon in tactical warfare.

As I recollect, the online play in Metal Gear Solid 4 was actually pretty interesting, it just had a pretty sharp drop off. Hopefully Kojima Productions have found a way to keep people coming back this time around.
