Is A Groot Solo Movie Inevitable? Vin Diesel Thinks So

Vin Diesel was interviewed by MTV International the other day and talked about his Marvel Studios character of Groot. One of the most popular characters from the highly popular Guardians of the Galaxy film, Diesel would love to see the tree-like alien meet up with Mark Ruffalo's gamma-radiated giant The Hulk. He also feels that a solo movie for Groot is inevitable, saying that he's discussed it with James Gunn already and really wants to go back to Groot's homeworld. As much as I love the character, I think it would be difficult for the mono-sentanced hero to carry an entire film on his own.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 hits theaters May 5th.
