Is Guardians Of The Galaxy Star Dave Bautista Angling For A WWE Return?

Yesterday marked the fifteenth anniversary of Dave Bautista's debut in the WWE under the ring name of Batista. We don't know why WWE made Bautista change his name to Batista, but we imagine it went something like this:

Vince McMahon: What's your name, kid?

Dave Bautista: It's Bautista.

Vince: That will never work, dammit!

Bautista: Why not?

Vince: Do you think vowels grow on trees, you sunuvabitch?! What the hell is a bow-tista?! We're gonna call you bah-tista!

Bautista: Okay, if you say so.

Vince: Great! Now get out there and make Roman look strong, kid!

Bautista: Who the hell is Roman?

Vince: I don't know, but one day, it will be really important to me.

In any case, McMahon took to Twitter yesterday to wish Bautista a happy WWE anniversary:

And Bautista replied:

Does this mean we could soon be seeing a return of "Batista" to the WWE ring? Recently, Bautista said that he would only come back to work a program with Triple H, and he said WWE wasn't interested in that. But now that Bautista has the ear of Vince McMahon himself, it's probably only a matter of time.
