How to Train Your Dragon: The Cavaliers Are On Fire In A New TV Spot

Universal has released a new tie-in TV spot with the Cleveland Cavaliers and How to Train Your Dragon. The film will be released on June 13, 2025.

It seems the tie-in marketing is continuing at Universal. Is this what we can expect from them for the entire summer? It would be extremely funny if it continued well into Wicked: For Good. There were a few of those, but every time they are played relatively straight, it always feels a bit cringe. There are always positives and negatives for marketing continuing to change and advance in the world, and this might be one of them. Jurassic World Rebirth got it one day, now How To Train Your Dragon and the Cleveland Cavaliers are teaming up. While the dragons in the movie look right in place and very real, these look awkward as hell, which is kind of hurting the film more than it is helping.

While the review embargo is still up, and they did make sure we knew there were still a few tweaks here and there that needed to be made, I'm happy to report that How to Train Your Dragon is good. As someone very nervous about this and a huge fan of the original film, I walked away very pleased and just as in my feels as I was when I saw the first film for the first time.
