Huge Destiny Content Expansion Coming This Fall Say Activision

A month or so ago, I talked about a picture showing the supposed Destiny DLC road map outlining the content that would be coming to the game in forthcoming expansions. So far, that leak has proven to be correct too.

That is why we might already know what is coming with the forthcoming Comet DLC which is going to act as a huge content expansion for the game. Due to an investor's call last night, we now know that content is for sure coming this fall. CEO of Activision, Eric Hirshberg said:

In Q2, we expect to launch the game's second expansion pack, House of Wolves, and later this year, we will announce a major content release for the fall, so stay tuned.

This is the first time Activision have talked about a potential release window for House of Wolves too, so expect that somewhere between April and June.

We can bet that that 'major content' release pertains to Comet. Just as a refresher, that earlier leak said that that update will come with 12 story missions, one raid, four assuaults, six multiplayer maps and a new sub-class. That is a pretty big content dump, so I'll be interested to see how it fares.

I hope they really do bring the story this time.
