Mirror's Edge Sequel Title Outed By Trademark?
I'm pretty certain we can expect to see Mirror's Edge 2 at EA's press conference on Monday. The game was announced two years ago via a short teaser and there was a brief look at it in development last year, but it has more or less been quiet since then.
We heard a few weeks ago that the game looks set for an early 2016 release date, but what we didn't know was the title. Some assumed it would simply be Mirror's Edge 2, but this new clue found on NeoGAF suggests it might be going a different way. A European trademark for Mirror's Edge Catalyst has been found, which could point to the sequel's title.
Then again, this could be anything. A companion app, a comic book, a novel, anything that could shoot off the main series really. I'd lean towards this being the name of the new game, but not with a great amount of certainty. I suppose we don't have long to find out though.
