The Nerd Dome Podcast Episode 91 – Ranking The Spider-Men
When I'm not making everyone in our comment sections here mad I'm on a podcast with a bunch of my close friends out here in Salt Lake City, Utah. Every week we get together and talk about the nerd news that has happened over the week, comics, and a topic for the latter half. We are a not safe for work podcast and all of our opinions are our own. We have a good time and we'd love for you to join us.
Nerd Dome Podcast Episode 91 – Facial Jheri Curls
This week only half of the podcasters have seen Spider-Man: Homecoming but we still decided to talk about Spider-Man anyway. This is probably one of the contentious debates we've had with several of us disagreeing on a level that could ruin friendships. Chelsey and Luke defend the Amazing Spider-Man series until they are blue in the face while Kiley and I maintain that the Sam Raimi films were much, much better. I even spend some time defending the dancing and the emo stuff from Spider-Man 3. It's a good discussion where all of us have fairly differing opinions instead of one or two people being the odd man out.
During the news segment we go over the latest casting announcement from Marvel for Luke Cage season two, The Thor: Ragnarok, and then spend a good portion of the first segment of the news talking about Divided States of America and whether or not Image should have pulled the cover. it lead into a discussion about exploitation and whether or not Image was right to pull the cover.
