Nerd Dome Podcast Episode 95: The Rights And Wrongs Of Adaptations

When I'm not making everyone in our comment sections here mad and posting Spider-Man: Homecoming spoilers, I'm on a podcast with a bunch of my close friends out here in Salt Lake City, Utah. Every week we get together and talk about the nerd news that has happened over the week, comics, and a topic for the latter half. We are a not safe for work podcast and all of our opinions are our own. We have a good time and we'd love for you to join us.Nerd Dome Podcast

The Nerd Dome Podcast Episode 95: The Viewing Window

This week I attempt to heard this group of cats as we talk about the concept of adaptations. Kyle and I bot had to see The Dark Tower and even if you haven't read the books it's plenty obvious that this was not a good adaptation. So this week we decided to talk about the concept of adaptation. Why some of them work, why some of them don't, and what are some of the major problems that people face when adapting material from one medium to another. We don't finish the discussion due to some technical problems but we'll finish it next week.

We also covered the news for the week including the Shazam! director making comments on the movie and learning the source material, Rick and Morty finally returning, the Titans TV show casting Raven, Captain Marvel rumors, and more.

This week featuring the long awaited return of Pat.
