New Indie Game Reflections Lets You Play As…Well, You
This looks like a nifty.
Reflections is a new indie title from Broken Window Studios. The game is not about power fantasy or escapism, but instead lets you play through an ordinary person's life. You seem to move through a monochrome world, that becomes full of colour as you interact with it and have experiences.
Here is a trailer for the game.

Polygon did a feature on the game, and it makes for interesting reading. Developer Tristen Moore told the website:
We're really pushing the idea that the you are 'you' in the game, so the elements of the story are designed to be general. We are setting up a couple of questions for you to answer at the start which may change some of the outcomes and characters. We want to leave the character of 'you' pretty open, so it's more defined by your actions than a predetermined context.
It's fairly unique approach to a game and one I'm sure will drive some sections of the community mad. I'd wager if you are not a fan of Dear Esther or Gone Home, this won't be for you you. If you are into experimental experiences though, this could be you all over.
The game is due out in April. I'm going to keep a slightly intrigued eye on it.
