Sandra Oh Lands Lead In Phoebe-Waller Bridge's 'Killing Eve'
Sandra Oh has landed the lead in the upcoming BBC America original series Killing Eve, an eight-episode drama/thriller from Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) about a psychopathic assassin and the woman hunting her.
Eve (Oh) is a smart, security services operative who is bored with her desk job and fantasies about being a real spy. Villanelle, who has yet to be cast, is an elegant killer who likes her job. The series will premiere in 2018.
This is the first regular series role Oh has been cast in since leaving Grey's Anatomy two years ago. She recently appeared in the films Catfight and Window Horses.
