The early slate for 2024 is continuing to fill out as the new year creeps ever closer. We know the bigger releases are set to come out, but now it's time for the smaller and middle-budget releases to start getting some promotional push. No studio is pushing the middle-budget film harder than Lionsgate, and we have a new comedy on the way. While men could have children until they are well into their senior years, women are on more of a timeline, and while it isn't impossible to get pregnant after a certain age, it can be a little harder. While the idea that eggs somehow "degrade" or "die" after a certain age is blown far out of proportion, freezing your eggs so you can have kids later in life is a journey that more and more women are going on. That is the journey we'll be following in Scrambled, which, considering the story, that title is pretty much perfect. It seems like it could be a blend of Bridesmaids and Knocked Up, which could be fun to watch. As always, the first few months of the year are always a crapshoot in terms of quality in film, but this looks promising. The first trailer, poster, and images were recently released.
