A Severed Arm, A Barbed-Wire Fence And An Old Professor – Pieces To The Logan Puzzle
News and images for the upcoming third Wolverine film has been trickling out for the last few days. We learned that the film directed by James Mangold (The Wolverine) and written by Michael Green (American Gods) and David James Kelly (Mind Mgmt) would be called Logan and the first official poster was released showing Wolverine's wounded hand holding that of a child.
Since then a series of photos have appeared on the official Instagram account. The first showing a much older Professor X, the second showing a severed arm with a gun and the third a fence with a sign written in spanish. All of the photos are in a highly-stylized black & white.
So, what are we looking at? Well, the Spanish loosely translates to: "it's forbidden by law trespassing or being around in any of these routes." I get the feeling we'll be getting a lot more of these posts over the next few months.
The film stars Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart along with Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl), Richard E. Grant (Game of Thrones), Stephen Merchant (Movie 43), Eriq La Salle (ER), Elise Neal (Scream 2), and Elizabeth Rodriguez (Orange is the New Black).
Logan will be in theaters March 3, 2017.
