Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings Trailer & Poster Debut
Marvel dropped the first trailer for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings this morning, celebrating star Simu Liu's birthday today in grand style. Shang-Chi is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Dave Callaham. The film also stars Awkwafina, Fala Chen, Ronny Chieng, Tony Chiu-Wai Leung, Florian Munteanu, Meng'er Zhang, and Michelle Yeoh. It has had its release date moved and shifted a bunch, but it set to debut on September 3rd in theaters. You can see the first trailer for the film below, along with the first poster.
Shang-Chi Makes His Big Screen Debut In Grand Fashion
"Whoever said that you could only RECEIVE presents on your birthday?" The star wrote this morning on his Twitter account. "Today, I'm giving you your VERY FIRST LOOK at the teaser poster for and the Legend of the Ten Rings!! Coming to theatres September 3rd (trailer drops in a few weeks). WE'RE ALMOST THERE, PEOPLE!!!!" Well, then Marvel went ahead and dropped the trailer today to celebrate the stars big day. Marvel Studios is going to have a busy 2021 after taking 2020 off because of pandemic delays. WandaVision kicked us off, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has one episode left, then Loki makes a grand entrance in June, followed by Black Widow on July 9th, finally. Shang-Chi follows on September 3rd, then the oft-delayed Eternals film opens on November 5th. Spidey swings again on December 17th rounding us out. Oh yeah, there is also What If…, Hawkeye, and maybe Ms. Marvel on Disney+. I'm going to go lie down now.
