The Tick Series From Amazon Gets An Official Trailer

Amazon has released a new official trailer for their upcoming superhero comedy series The Tick. The series stars Peter Serafinowicz, Griffin Newman, Jackie Earle Haley, Valorie Curry, Yara Martinez and Brendan Hines. For those of you not familiar with the comic series by Ben Edlund, the series focuses on a non-powered accountant named Arthur who witness his parents being killed in a battle between heroes and villains where the heroes lost badly. He ends up associated with a strange blue superhero who is long on strength and short on intellect.

 

This is the third time the series has been adapted for television with an animated version in the 1990s and then a live-action series with Patrick Warburton and Liz Vassey in 2001. The Tick was first published in 1986 by New England Comic Press.

All ten episodes of The Tick will be released August 25 on Amazon.
