What The Creators Of Doctor Who Did Next – Could Someone Revive Adam Adamant Lives?

In 1966, Verity Lambert and Sydney Newman moved on from a television show they had created together. You may have heard of it, it was called Doctor Who. It was quite successful.

Their next show together was also successful in a similar slot, but sadly wasn't imbued with the concept of regeneration and so came to an end far sooner.

It was Adam Adamant Lives! The story of an Edwardian adventurer frozen in ice in the year 1902, alongside his arch enemy, and revived in the height of swinging sixties. Having to contrast his own sense of morality with the new, and learning to embrace it. But keeping his sense of innate justice, and fighting for it in a new half-century. It was a central influence on Austin Powers, Man Of Mystery.

The whole show has been uploaded to Youtube it seems and no one seems to have any interest in removing it.

Until someone wants to revive it.

Russell T Davies, come on down.
