Trump Political Ally Jesse Ventura Has Vladimir Putin's Personal Assurance For New TV Show
The search for more evidence of collusion between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Russian operatives uncovered a new connection this week when political ally Jesse "The Body" Ventura announced that he has received personal assurances from Russian President Vladimir Putin about a new TV show set to air on Russia's international television network, RT. Ventura is a close ally of President Trump, who once promised to morally and financially back Ventura should he choose to return to politics. How did we come to a place where a pro-wrestler-turned-9-11-Truther can be a legitimate connection between the leaders of the U.S. and Russia?
After leaving an early career in the U.S. military, Ventura became one of pro wrestling's biggest stars in the 1970s and early 1980s. He's starred in movies like Predator, The Running Man, and Abraxas: Guardian of the Universe, and left wrestling and Hollywood for a career in politics, becoming Governor of Minnesota in 1998. While active in politics, Ventura described himself as fiscally conservative and socially liberal, and ran on the Reform Party ticket. Around the turn of the century, Ventura was arguably at the peak of his popularity, and it's in 2004 that Ventura returned to WWE and interviewed a young(er) Donald Trump at WrestleMania XX.
"If I were to get back into politics, could I expect your moral and financial support?" Ventura asked Trump.
"100%," the future President of the United States replied without hesitation. "You know that. 100%."
"You know what? I think we might need a wrestler in the White House…" Ventura told the crowd to massive applause.
Jesse Ventura never did make that White House bid that Donald Trump offered to fund in its entirety, but another WWE Hall-of-Famer did: Trump himself, whose pro wrestling career stretches back to WrestleMania 4 and 5, which he hosted at his Atlantic City Trump Plaza venue, and includes participation in one of the main events of WrestleMania 22. Trump has rewarded his pro wrestling colleagues before, naming former WWE CEO Linda McMahon as head of the Small Business Administration. Does he still aim to make good on his promise to Ventura?
While Trump was rising to power as leader of the free world, Ventura was falling deeper into the tangled web of conspiracy theory, appearing on outlets like The Alex Jones Show and his own podcast to warn of government mind control machines. Speaking about the events of 9-11 in his 2010 book, American Conspiracies: Lies, Lies, and More Dirty Lies That the Government Tells Us, Ventura wrote:
Our government engaged in a massive cover-up of what really happened, including its own ties to the hijackers. Unanswered questions remain about how the towers were brought down, and whether a plane really struck the Pentagon. The Bush Administration either knew about the plan and allowed it to proceed, or they had a hand in it themselves.
Ventura even recently hosted his own show about conspiracy theories, aptly titled Conspiracy Theories with Jesse Ventura, on TruTV, and now he's returning, but this time on Russian airwaves.
On The World According to Jesse, Ventura will share his views on current events. The show will air on Russia Today, an international media outlet controlled and funded by the Russian government which has been likened to a propaganda outlet, though the network claims it simply offers a Russian perspective on news. According to a report from the Associated Press, Putin himself has personally assured Ventura that his show won't be censored by the network, presumably so viewers can finally learn the truth about thermite paint taking down the Twin Towers and U.S. government mind control weapons developed by the HAARP program.
As to why Ventura had to take his venture to Russia, he says that the American media won't hire him after his legal dustup with American Sniper author Chris Kyle, in which Ventura successfully sued Kyle for defamation after Kyle claimed he punched Ventura in a bar for saying mean things about Navy Seals.
"I can't get a job in the U.S.," Ventura explained, noting that he has lost his benefits from the Screen Actors Guild due to inactivity. "No one will touch me. My United States union throws me in the dirt and who comes to the rescue? Russia."
What's confusing is why Vladimir Putin had to rescue Ventura, when the President of the United States already owed him a big favor. The story doesn't add up, which is yet more proof that conspiracy theories are real, Vladimir Putin is working through Jesse Ventura to make Donald Trump hand over control of the planet to lizard people, and pro wrestling is the most powerful political force in human history.
