  • Liquid Death partners with Netflix's Rebel Moon for a crossover promotion.
  • Eli Snyder directs a satirical ad blending Rebel Moon's world with Liquid Death.
  • Zack Snyder shows support for the unique promotional campaign on Twitter.
  • Liquid Death's mission: kill plastic pollution and quench thirst with natural minerals.

Liquid Death announced a new crossover promotion for their line of canned waters this week, as they have teamed up with the Netflix film Rebel Moon. As they have done in the past with other brands and celebrities, this is basically just a chance to get their water out there in a hilarious way, only this time around, they've made a cheeky version of what you would typically expect to see run during the Super Bowl, as they have taken actors from the film and worked with Eli Snyder to make it epic. Here's Snyder's comment on the campaign, which is currently running.

"Satirizing an overtly blue-collar ad campaign let us meld the world of Rebel Moon with the distinct brand identity of Liquid Death. Leveraging the real environments used in the film allowed us to maximize the irony of Imperium soldiers celebrating a 'hard day's work' with an ice-cold can of Liquid Death," said Eli Snyder.

What's more, it even got some love from Zack Snyder, Eli's father, who previously worked with the company on the Netflix zombie-heist film Army of The Dead, when they created a fake 30-minute informercial tied to the film while promoting their water.

Liquid Death

We're just a funny beverage company who hates corporate marketing as much as you do. Our evil mission is to make people laugh and get more of them to drink more healthy beverages more often, all while helping to kill plastic pollution. Liquid Death Sparkling Water doesn't just look like a beer, it is actually carbonated like a beer. Slightly less carbonation means less carbonic acid is formed, which means it's less bitter and more thirst murderous than many other sparkling waters. Liquid Death Mountain Water comes from a deep underground mountain source protected by a few hundred feet of stone and contains naturally occurring minerals (aka electrolytes) that aren't just good for your body, they will murder your thirst. Instantly.
