Marvel's Iron Fist Season 2: There's Something About (Typhoid) Mary in New Images
Netflix Early looks and the first official second-season trailer for Marvel's Iron Fist have Netflix fans cautiously excited for the upcoming season – and that's due in large part to the eagerly-anticipated introduction of Alice Eve as classic Marvel villain Typhoid Mary Now the streaming service is giving us a look at Mary's deadly duality, using the show's[...]
Marvel's Iron Fist: Danger Hits Close to Home for Danny in Season 2 Trailer, Poster
If the second season of Marvel's Iron Fist is even half as good as the trailers/teasers released for it have looked, then Netflix might be witnessing one of the biggest season-to-season turnarounds since Buffy the Vampire Slayer (you know I'm right) Now with the streaming service having released a new trailer for the upcoming season,[...]
Luke Cage Won't Be Appearing in Iron Fist Season 2
When it was first announced that Finn Jones would be making an appearance as Danny Rand aka Iron Fist in the second season of Luke Cage fans were quick to roll their eyes While Iron Fist and Luke Cage are one of the great friendships of the comics but we hadn't really seen that in[...]

How Much Did the Destruction in Marvel's Luke Cage Season 1 Cost?
I don't think there was nearly as much damage in Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Jessica Jones or Marvel's Iron Fist I think Marvel's The Punisher may have been close But I would guess that Marvel's The Defenders would be the winner with the total destruction of a large building in it That probably wins. Marvel's Luke Cage[...]
Jeph Loeb, Cloak and Dagger Red Carpet SXSW 2018
Most of his answers fell in the "wait and see" or "anything could happen" category that Kevin Feige is so good at evoking, but a few questions got some very interesting answers. The first one has to do with the Netflix series that brought Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and[...]

He also says that they have come up with a story that needs all 13 episodes to tell — this is in response to criticism that the first season was two or three episodes too long. And then the topic turned to Iron Fist, which Creekmur admits it's the one series he didn't like and says[...]

Avengers #1 cover by Ed McGuinness
[rwp-review-recap id="0"] In the past, a group made up of Odin, Lady Phoenix, Ghost Rider, the Black Panther, the Starbrand, Agamatto, and the Iron Fist went to war with the First Celestial Host. Today, Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, and Thor Odinson meet up after a year of terrible events and personal woes One question hovers around all[...]
Wong and the Midnight Sons make their final stand against the hordes of Hell and the demonically-possessed Avengers. Before long, Mephisto himself arrives to gloat over having killed Johnny Blaze. However, Mephisto does not know that the Ghost Rider has become the king of Hell, and the tides may soon turn in favor of Wong. Doctor Strange: Damnation ends better than it began. While some of the deliberate lack of repentance on the part of Stephen Strange and the lack of focus on the members of the Midnight Sons that aren’t Wong and Strange does bother me, this final installment didn’t really get on my nerves as much as the first. Don’t get me wrong, this issue still has a myriad of problems that keep it from being required reading. This story was stretched to breaking point, and a good portion of what matters happened in the Ghost Rider issue. This book is a protracted third act. As far as plot-relevance goes, Blade, Doctor Voodoo, Bloodstone, Man-Thing, Scarlet Spider, Moon Knight, and Iron Fist may as well not be here. Even in their own tie-ins, Iron Fist and Scarlet Spider don’t really do anything important to the story. The follow-up story promises more with the Midnight Sons though, and that will hopefully come to something. Rod Reis’ artwork is a welcome presence in this book. His style lends itself to the ethereal and surreal nature of this setting and plot. The color gradience adds a unique atmosphere and generally looks quite good. Szymon Kudranski and Dan Brown handle the epilogue with the Midnight Sons and Doc Strange. The more realistic aesthetic does contrast Reis’ work in an odd manner, but it looks good too. Doctor Strange: Damnation #4 is a decent enough read. If you liked the rest of the story, you’ll like this one too. The fact that the story at least acknowledges that Strange’s idea was terrible from the start and ties it to personal problems helps a lot. Reis, Kudranksi, and Brown provide good visuals. Feel free to check it out.
