Cloak and Dagger Season 1: Character Photos and Descriptions

Cloak and Dagger focuses on two teenagers from very different backgrounds, Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph), who acquire superpowers and meet by chance, soon realizing that their powers work better when they are together. The series also stars J.D. Evermore, Miles Mussenden, Gloria Reuben, Andrea Roth, and James Saito. EW.com has a series of exclusive photos and character descriptions

Tyrone Johnson is described as:

"… a young man who wanted nothing more than to prove he was fearless. But when everything he held close was taken away, life taught Tyrone to be afraid. Now older and more sheltered, Tyrone closes himself off. But when he meets a girl named Tandy, his life changes forever."

Tandy Bowen is described as:

"… a once-privileged little girl who watched as her family was destroyed by a disastrous storm that uprooted her life. Now in her late teens, an unexpected encounter with a boy named Tyrone sparks a life-changing event."

Liam is described as:

"… a salt-of-the-earth townie. Liam operates as Tandy's partner in crime while moonlighting as her boyfriend. But underneath this rough-around-the-edges appearance, Liam has big dreams. All of them include Tandy."

"Detective Brigid O'Reilly is accustomed to working in a man's world, but she isn't looking to be "one of the guys". Her New York sensibilities have hardened her from being too friendly or open, setting her apart from her Louisiana counterparts. Brigid believes in justice and doesn't think that anyone should be above it, including other cops. Especially other cops…"

Detective Connors is described as:

"Father Delgado is constantly seeking redemption in spite of the fact that he's not sure he deserves it. As a school counselor and priest, Delgado is a rock for Ty. Oppressed by the collar, he leads more through words than example as he still struggles daily with the life he has chosen."

"Otis trudges through his desk job to keep his family safe and happy, all while too-quietly mourning a loss. This working-class father does what he can to ensure his son Tyrone will grow up to be a man."

Cloak and Dagger is slated to be 10 episodes long and will premiere June 7th on Freeform.
