Daredevil: Born Again Star Has No Time for Social Media Negativity
Daredevil: Born Again star Vincent D’Onofrio loves engaging on social media, but he made it clear that he has no time for negativity.
Vincent D'Onofrio remains one of the few dwindling positive celebrity voices on Twitter, but the Daredevil: Born Again star has his limits when it comes to the never-ending vitriol from cynical fans and trolls. The actor, who plays Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, took to the platform to a stern reminder of what he may do, like so many of his peers have already done, and abandon the platform. "I will however stop communicating on my X account if the negativity continues," D'Onofrio wrote. "I believe most of you will understand that why should we deal with negative comments or badgering of any kind in life if we can just turn it off. Especially when our own lives can be hard enough sometimes. Wouldn't you all agree? So let's keep the fun rolling and in a positive way, shall we."

Daredevil: Born Again Star Vincent D'Onofrio to Fans: We Can Do Better
As episodes of Daredevil: Born Again season two have been released, the actor has regularly interacted with fans, commenting on each episode, including some critics. Naturally, that good faith could start to wear thin as others have far less interest in a discussion than simple rage baiting with the sole purpose of sapping joy out of others. Not that bad-faith actors didn't exist before Elon Musk decided to meddle in the social media business with his 2022 purchase of Twitter and subsequent rebranding to X.
A deluge of right-wing demagogues has had their voices restored after a previous ban from previous ownership, including President Donald Trump. As a result of the combination of normalizing the extreme right wing and respective hate speech, many of the voices that helped make the platform popular abandoned it altogether, opting for the various competing services like Blue Sky, Mastodon, and Meta's Threads. Some have remained on Meta's Facebook and Instagram.

As D'Onofrio, who also possesses an Instagram account, and co-star Deborah Ann Woll continue to have a presence on Twitter, Charlie Cox doesn't possess an account. Krysten Ritter continues to be active on Instagram. Jon Bernthal hasn't posted on his Twitter since 2025, but maintains his Instagram.
