"Doctor Who" Series 12 "The Timeless Children": Lies Exposed, Truths Revealed in New Preview Images
It's all been building up to this, folks: after a "summer blockbuster"-like run of nine episodes, the BBC's Doctor Who Series 12 is coming to a close with season finale "The Timeless Children" – and by the time the dust settles, The Doctor (Jodie Whittaker), Graham (Bradley Walsh), Yaz (Mandip Gill), and Ryan (Tosin Cole) are going to find their worlds changed in ways they never imagined.
Considering the season started with The Master (Sacha Dhawan) and his deadly promise/warning to The Doctor, it's no surprise that the stakes would be so great. We've been introduced to "another" Doctor in the form of Jo Martin (who appears to pre-date Whittaker's Doctor), witnessed the return of Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman), faced the resurgence of the Cybermen, went on a James Bond-like spy adventure, and a whole lot more.
But with this being Doctor Who, it's only fitting that it start and end between The Master and the Doctor (as you're about to see in the preview images following the season finale teasers) – but with the history of lies and double-crosses betwen them, what is "truth" anymore?
"Doctor Who" series 12, episode 10 "The Timeless Children": The Cybermen are on the march. The last remaining humans are hunted down. Lies are exposed, truths are revealed. And for the Doctor, nothing will ever be the same.
