'Killing Eve' S02, Ep03: Just How Hungry is "The Hungry Caterpillar?" (PREVIEW)

After last weeks "Nice and Neat", it's pretty obvious we're dealing with an entirely new dynamic on BBC America's excellent Killing Eve.

Villanelle (Jodie Comer) spent most of the episode sidelined in a creepy guy's house due to a stabbing injury (and her inability to take it easy and heal). Once Villanelle got herself out of that very bad situation with some creative crochet needle skills, she found herself saddled with a new handler, played by Adrian Scarborough, who is a bit of a sadist.

Eve (Sandra Oh) is back at MI6 under the watchful eye of Carolyn (Fiona Shaw), and has been assigned to a new team as a specialist on female serial killers.

There's also a new killer at play, one the team calls the Ghost. She works a lot differently than Villanelle- quiet, inconspicuous, and without any panache. The Ghost has been working some of the same types of kills that Villanelle has, which probably won't sit well with the volatile assassin.

Meanwhile, Konstantin (Kim Bodniaback) is back in action after surviving Villanelle's bullet to the gut, and Eve is going to have to swallow a lot of suspicion to work the shady Russian. Still, he's the world's foremost expert on Villanelle, and they're going to need all the help they can get!

Sunday, April 28th, AMC and BBC America will release "The Hungry Caterpillar", and while I can't predict the future, I can say Villanelle is making some pretty snazzy beads! Here's the preview:

We also have a clip from "The Hungry Caterpillar", in which Eve meets one of her husband's co-workers. Awkward? Yeah, very awkward.

Awkward is one of the things Killing Eve does really well. That, and the acting. And the story. And that absolutely amazing soundtrack.
