The Arrowverse 'Suits Up' In New Promo Video

The CW has released a new video called Suit Up that shows a good number of Arrowverse characters doing just that. We have Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), Vibe (Carlos Valdes), Atom (Brandon Routh), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez) and the Flash (Grant Gustin). We also see glimpses of Kid Flash, Heatwave, Mr. Terrific and others, but we don't get clear shots of their faces so it could've been doubles suiting up. The idea here is that there is one, uni-sexed locker room for the heroes of Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

The piece is promoting the shows returns starting January 15th and it made me think of the Fight Club videos from previous years. I don't know if this is this years version of that, a lead up to a new Fight Club video or something all together different. It is always fun to see these characters get together. They seem to be carrying over a theme from the Crisis on Earth-X crossover as the video has Barry showing up with a Big Belly Burger, asking if Oliver had meant "suit up now". Oliver of course says they've been suiting up for twenty minutes already. Barry of course suits up in a second and speeds out of the locker, leaving Green Arrow shaking his head. A play on the Flash/Supergirl/Green Arrow scene where Oliver had to remind the others that he doesn't have super speed.

Supergirl returns January 15th at 8 PM, Flash on January 16th followed by the debut of Black Lightning. Arrow returns January 18th at 9 PM and DC's Legend of Tomorrow returns February 12th at 8 PM.
