There's No "Defending" THIS Possible Daredevil: Born Again S03 Spoiler

Some familiar names were seen on the set of Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 heading into the weekend. Potential spoiler or Disney misdirection?

Article Summary

  • Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 set leak hints at major [SPOILER] reunion for Disney+
  • [SPOILER] and [SPOILER] spotted with Krysten Ritter, teasing [SPOILER] and [SPOILER] returns
  • Marvel could be using misdirection to keep fans guessing about Daredevil: Born Again’s plot
  • Speculation rises about which villain might unite Daredevil, Jessica Jones, [SPOILER], and [SPOILER]

It's the kind of gamble that makes you scratch your head, because the first attempt didn't exactly pan out as planned. If this set leak is to be believed, as Entertainment Weekly reports, it is a potential major spoiler for Daredevil: Born Again season three, and it looks like we may see some major returns. This time, you can't blame Tom Holland or Mark Ruffalo for this. Let this be your spoiler warning.

Daredevil: Born Again Set Leak for Major Returns or Misdirection?

It was already predicated by Daredevil: Born Again season one when we saw Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle/Punisher, followed by the return of Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones for season two. Now a set leak finds Defenders stars Mike Colter and Finn Jones photographed with Ritter, presumably reprising their roles as Luke Cage and Danny Rand/Iron Fist. Both actors starred in their respective individual Netflix series alongside Ritter's Jessica Jones and the Charlie Cox-starred Daredevil.

Now, I wouldn't put it past Marvel to misdirect and have Colter and Jones there probably to throw off the potential plot point for season three, but this is unlike Marvel Television/Studios to leak something this big unless they're staying one step ahead. Even if you can believe that the Defenders, which was the standalone limited series that was critically panned on Netflix, have reunited, we obviously don't know what threat they could be facing since there hasn't exactly been anything outside of Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin and Wilson Bethel's Bullseye that we've seen in the new Disney canon.

The enemies that Jessica, Luke, Danny, and fellow Iron Fist Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) have largely been dealt with and enclosed within their own respective shows; not all of them died, but there's nothing there to suggest some major threat, not that there aren't those from Marvel's rogue gallery to pull from. Whether Disney will admit and release things related to it remains to be seen, or they'll just nudge and wink to get speculative fans off their actual trail, remains a real possibility, especially in this greedy spoiler culture we live in.
