NYCC Through Google Glass – The Hunt For Rocket Raccoon
The following is part of a series of videos Marq Romero of his NYCC experience using Google Glass.
Thursday is usually the day most people go to NYCC to get the Con Exclusives rather than waiting till the weekend to fight through the bigger crowds to get to a booth and wait on line for a long period of time. Last year I was able to get everything I wanted in just a few hours. This year however was the first time Thursday passes were on sale to the public so the showfloor was much more crowded than previous years.
On Thursday I spent a big chunk of my time on line for about three hours at the Marvel Booth. That's right. Three. Hours. For what you ask? The Marvel Exclusive Rocket Raccoon plush, that's what! It turned out to be THE thing to get at NYCC Thursday when after an hour and a half into our wait they eventually began to limit one stuffed raccoon per customer. So my wife bought one for us, and I bought one to flip on ebay…er, I mean I bought another raccoon to put up for adoption. I also bought the Zombie Magneto bust (which is a stunning piece of art!). Watch the video below for my first-person experience through Glass. I also met a cute dog cosplaying as Nick Fury on the line!

I love the Rocket Raccoon plush! It's soft, cuddly and still maintains its bad-ass image. I just wish it came with a plush gun because what's Rocket Raccoon without a gun?
