Treyarch Confirmed For The Next Call Of Duty – Is It World At War II?
Here is some confirmation of something most of us would have expected. During last night's Activision Q4 briefing, it was announced that there would indeed be a 2015 Call Of Duty and it will be developed by World at War and Black Ops creators Treyarch. This is no surprise as Call of Duty is shared by three studios on a rota and 2015 is Tryarch's year, just as next year's will be Infinity Ward and 2017 will be Sledgehammer Games'.
The interesting thing now though is that a lot of people are talking about the game being rumored as World at War II. Even straight-laced MCV made mention of the rumours when reporting this story. This could all come from this tweet the turned up in mid January. It has since been pretty much dismissed, but I wonder if 'rumours' are just a residual of people seeing this.

This could also be based on some more concrete behind the scenes rumours I'm not privy too, but I can't say for sure right now.
A trip back in time would be a welcome change of scenery from recent modern and futuristic outings, but I have the say, the pace and maneuverability that the exo-suits gave to last years Advanced Warfare would be sorely missed, at least by me.
