Micronauts, Untitled Hasbro "Event" Film Get Release Dates

Following up on the release date for the upcoming GI Joe Reboot, Paramount has set dates for more upcoming geek-favorite properties in their new Hasbro universe. First up, Micronauts, which will hit theaters on October 16, 2020, following GI Joe's March 2020 release. Originally based on the licensed Japanese toy line Microman, Micronauts was given life for American audiences in a Marvel comic book by Bill Mantlo and Michael Golden which ran form 1979 to 1984, with other series to follow over the years. IDW currently publishes a Micronauts comic as part of their own shared Hasbro comicverse. JJ Abrams was originally attached to a Micronauts movie before the Hasbroverse plans were announced.

Micronauts will be part of a shared movie universe that also includes GI Joe, MASK, Rom, and Visionaries, which makes the next release date all the more interesting
