First Trailer and Poster for "Top Gun: Maverick" Premieres After Hall H Presentation

Paramount Pictures was one of the two big studios that decided to show up to San Diego Comic-Con this year and they were also the ones that decided to kick off the big presentations. The panel was labeled as a Terminator: Dark Fate panel but after director Tim Miller insisted on showing the footage a second time Tom Crusie came out to introduce Tom Gun: Maverick.

After Cruise talked about how important the movie is to the local community they showed off the trailer to a packed Hall H. Paramount Pictures then released the trailer and the poster wide.

The Hall H room lost their damn minds for the trailer which makes sense considering where the original movie was shot. Cruise also went out of his way to say that everything we see in the movie is real. The flying shots look pretty insane and if the whole movie is full of shots like that this could be a really cool movie.

Top Gun: Maverick, directed Joseph Kosinski, stars Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Val Kilmer, Jennifer Connelly, Glen Powell, Jon Hamm, and Ed Harris. It will be released June 26, 2020.
