Doctor Doom is Butthurt Over an Assassination Attempt in Amazing Spider-Man #35 [Preview]
Amazing Spider-Man #35 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by Nick Spencer and Oscar Bazaldua, part of the 2099 transitional super-mega-crossover event.
Last issue, Doctor Doom survived an assassination attempt by using a Doombit as a decoy, which is like the oldest Doctor Doom trick in the book.
And now, Doom is super butthurt about the whole thing.
And Spider-Man is going to have to deal with it.
We appreciate that this comic makes the minimal effort of pointing out that the Avengers and Fantastic Four are busy at the moment to explain why they don't just team up and kick Doctor Doom's ass in a single issue.
At least Spidey has backup in the form of his sister.
Amazing Spider-Man #35 hits stores on Wednesday.

• Spider-Man. Doctor Doom. 'Nuff said?
• NO WAY! The Chameleon has insane plans that have put all of NYC (and the very future of the universe!) in danger, and only Spider-Man can save the day.
• All he has to do is convince Doctor Doom to help him. Uh-oh.
