Before you jump into this article thinking you're getting a dose of Star Wars... no! This has nothing to do with the upcoming film. Solo is an introspective puzzle game that focuses on the way you personally deal with relationships while also offering challenges to explore them.

We had previously mentioned that 20XX was in development by Fire Hose Games as a nod and a throwback to the Mega Man-type games we grew up with, but PAX East was the first time we actually got to put our hands on the game.

When you get told that you have a video game demo made by someone who used to work for Disney, the excitement level goes up just a bit. That's what we heard when we got to the Sleep Tight booth at PAX East from developers We Are Fuzzy to check out this awesome twin-stick shooter.

Abyssal Arts came out of the gate swinging at PAX East with their own tactical RPG that caught our attention and made us smile when we were finished called City Of The Shroud.

We got a cool little surprise in the form of an RPG from Ysbryd at PAX East this past weekend that was a complete throwback for me in many ways as we got to try out a demo for YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG.

If you've been looking for something that plays like Dark Souls but isn't as long and drawn out, we may have a game that could act as comfort food as we tried out Sinner: Road to Redemption, developed by Dark Star and being published by Another Indie, out on the PAX East floor.

One of the funnier games that caught our eyes over at PAX East was a title from Another Indie called Yuppie Psycho, which has a very futuristic horror blend in a 16-bit world that made us excited to play the entire demo.

The other fun little indie title we got to check out from EuroVideo at PAX East this year was a construction simulator called Pretz'l Land. The game focuses on bits of German culture in a fun animated way, taking place in the Alps where players can build country villages to their liking.

One of the developers we got to visit with over at PAX East was the crew from EuroVideo, who produce a lot of indie titles that may not be on the top of your lists right now, but they make some really fun and interesting titles, like Fox & Forests.

Home Movies is getting its own marathon on Twitch this month as the social streaming service will partner with Shout! Factory again to air the entire series on the show's 19th anniversary for a Bingefest.
