Batman Hush is Back with McFarlane Newest DC Comics Figure
McFarlane Toys gets a lot of crap for their DC Multiverse line being too Batman focused. It is not McFarlane's fault that DC Comics give the best stories to the Caped Crusader. One of these stories includes the hit DC Comics story Batman: Hush which showcases an excellent lineup of heroes and villains all be pulled by the strings of one of Bruce Wayne's childhood friends. Tommy Elliot is back as the one and only Hush once again as McFarlane Toys reveals their newest DC Multiverse figure. Loaded with excellent sculpt, Tommy will come with two knives and will be a perfect addition to any Batman Hush collection. It is figures like this that I wish McFarlane Toys would release a weapons locker allowing fans to "enhance" their DC Comics figures since they can't. Batman Hush will be priced at $19.99, will release in June 2022, and pre-orders are live and found here.
"The bandage-wrapped Hush is perhaps the closest to Bruce Wayne of all Batman's enemies. Young Tommy Elliot was a childhood friend of Wayne, who also grew up in wealth and privilege. However, Tommy soon became deeply jealous and resented Bruce once his parents were tragically killed—seeing Bruce as getting the independence and wealth Tommy so desperately desired. Eventually becoming a surgeon, Tommy's resentment for Bruce continued to fester and grow over the years. When The Riddler discovered that Bruce is really Batman, he approached Dr. Elliot with the secret. But, when the two realized they shared a hatred for Wayne, they joined forces. Wrapping his face in bandages to hide his identity, Elliot manipulated many of Batman's greatest Super-Villains in a grand conspiracy to defeat him—hence, his chosen identity of "Hush."
