Darth Maul Returns with New Star Wars 500LE Gentle Giant Bust

Darth Maul has been creating quite the buzz again with the final episodes of The Clone Wars. The last time fans saw him on the big screen was in Solo: A Star Wars Story. This was defiantly a shocker for fans who just watch the films since the last time we saw him was with his supposed demise in The Phantom Menace. It is still a mystery of Darth Maul's actions between Revenge of the Sith, Solo, and his final appearance in Rebels. Maybe we will get a comic book, novel, or another animated series showing his travels. Gentle Giant has announced today, on May the 4th, that Darth Maul will be getting a very special statue. The statue will feature Maul in a beautiful blue mold as if it were him in a hologram. The Solo: A Star Wars Story Darth Maul Holographic Mini Bust is very limited with only 500 units being made. The statue is fairly simple but we do get to a see an older style of Darth Maul with some likeness of Ray Park. We do get to see his lightsaber as well in a holographic form which is a nice touch. The limited edition size is defiantly appealing and will sell out pretty fast. Pre-orders will go up over the next 4 days and will go down by tier from Gentle Giants member rankings. You can apply to be a member here to have your chance to get the Darth Maul bust first. If not general public release will have their shot of May 8th but I don't think it will last that long. Measuring approximately 7 inches tall, this 1/6 scale mini-bust depicts Maul as he appears in Solo: A Star Wars Story, and is cast in translucent blue resin to simulate the hologram's effect.
