Hasbro Reveals Star Wars Resistance, Black Series, Vintage Collection Figures at NYCC

Star Wars collectors should be pretty excited right now, as hasbro revealed some pretty great stuff today at NYCC. Star Wars Resistance is getting a wave of figures (5 POA, but still), we have carded looks at the first wave of 2019 Vintage Collection figures, a new exclusive Gamorrean Guard Vintage Collection figure, two awesome Black Series reveals, and a Micro Force Advent Calendar! How awesome does that General Grievous look? My god, that is going to be a nightmare to try and find at retail. Also high on my want list was the Obi-Wan in Clone Wars armor, and I can't believe that we are actually getting it. Sucks that it is exclusive to Walgreens, but as long as we are getting it, that is all that matters.

Vintage Collection fans have to be on cloud nine. That Gammy Guard has been one fans have wanted reissued for a LONG time, and now you can have as many as you can handle. The others are also cool, but the winner is Yakface. Man did they nail that or what?

Finally we also have our first figures from Resistance. Wanna know a secret? I have seen the first episode already, and it is excellent. I already have a long list of figures in my head that I want from this show, and this first wave only scratches the surface. 5 POA figures have their detractors, but I am not one of them. Look at those sculpts! They are great, and will display nicely along my other Clone Wars and Rebels figures on my animation shelves.
