Poison Ivy Brings Bewitching Beauty with New Bishoujo Statue

Poison Ivy is making her long-awaited return to Kotbobukiya! This makes a total of nine years since her last statue appearance and this one is captivating. The statue shows of Ivy on a vine but it's her beauty that the artist tried to capture here. This isn't your normal series of statues as this Japanese company recreates iconic characters in a sort of anime-styled fashion. This statue works in all the right and poisonous ways. Her clothes show off a plant-based style that is quite showed off in the comics as well. We see her red flowing hair filled with flowers and she perches herself on one of her babies that is "smiling" back. Poison Ivy's smirk is what captivates her prey as she lures you into the trap of seduction just to be used for her next scheme.

This Poison Ivy Bishoujo series Kotobukiya statue is set for a February 2020 release date. Pricing or pre-orders have not yet been announced but I can only imagine what it will cost over $100. But for the quality of the artist but into this Poison Ivy statue it is well worth it.

"This is a one-woman show." – Ivy

Poison Ivy Brings Bewitching Beauty with New Bishoujo Statue from Kotobukiya

Poison Ivy returns to the Bishoujo statue line for the first time in nine years, based on all-new illustrations by the beloved Shunya Yamashita!

You can almost see the pheromone permeating from her very being, as she perches herself atop the botanical monster with a mischievous grin across her face. Her cunning and mysterious personality can also be seen from the vibe radiating from every angle of this statue.

This statue was sculpted by Munchkin, who meticulously crafted each hair and finger with detail. You won't be able to take your eyes off of any part of this figure; from the bodysuit that perfectly fits Poison Ivy's body, to the botanical monster below her.
