4 Yancy Street: Fantastic Four Gets a Quarterly Spinoff in August
Yesterday, we learned that Marvel's Fantastic Four series would spin off into a new Future Foundation series by Jeremy Whitley and Will Robson. Today, Marvel announced an additional spinoff series, this one of quarterly specials akin to Web of Venom, starting in August with Fantastic Four: 4 Yancy Street #1.
Fantastic Four: 4 Yancy Street will be written by the Gerry Duggan of comics, Gerry Duggan, with art by Greg Smallwood. Check out the press release below for more info.
The Fantastic Four Get New Adventures In All-New Special Series!
New York, NY—May 16, 2019—Last year, Marvel introduced the wildly popular Web of Venom series – a series of quarterly specials featuring new and exciting stories about the deadly symbiote that included some of the industry's best talent. "Last fall, Greg Smallwood and I got to take a big swing at Dr. Strange in 'The Best Defense' and now we're re-teaming to scratch our Fantastic Four itches," teased Gerry Duggan. "We're exploring some of the ripples created by their move to Yancy Street, and some classic Jack & Stan villains are invited, too. It's an oversized love letter to Marvel's first family, just in time for Marvel's eightieth birthday."
