44 Pages Of Comics For $2.99 – That's How You Launch A New Comic!

unnamed (12)

Tooth & Claw, the new anthropomorphic comic from Kurt Busiek and Benjamin Dewey was announced at Image Expo just before San Diego Comic Con, and will launch on November the 5th.

Remember, remember.

But also remember that it will cost just $2.99 – but be 44 pages long – that's story pages. A double (or more) standard issue length.

I'm sure there will be returnability or other promotions for retailers to encourage them to order lots but for readers, but never mind the quality, feel the width! What better way to sample a comic than to get to read two issues for the price of one and really get to grips with how much you are going to love it?

Because it looks like you really are going to love it. Woof woof!

The highly anticipated fantasy epic can best be described as Conan meets Kamandi with a Game of Thrones-style storytelling experience. In TOOTH & CLAW, a secret conclave of wizards brings a legendary champion forward through time from the forgotten past to save the world—with disastrous consequences. Featuring swords, sorcery, beast-wizards, gods, sprawling animal empires, golems of radioactive decay, crystalline badlands, con women, ancient armories, young love, mystery, blood and death and treachery and destiny… TOOTH & CLAW is the sprawling, world-building fantasy series readers have been waiting for.

Kurt Busiek's first mature readers comic, (literally) cheap at twice the price. Might be worth mentioning to your friendly neighbourhood retailer that you are interested?
