We know that Transformers/X-Men is coming from Marvel, Hasbro and probably IDW too. But ahead of that, Marvel want to have something a) a bit like that but b) something they own. Which is how writer Jed MacKay and artist Carlos Magno come to write Avengers: Mech Strike.
