Antarctic Press to Publish Crime Comics – Submissions Wanted

Following on from Jungle Comics and Horror Comics, Antarctic Press founder Benn Dunn has put out an appeal for comic book creators to submit proposals for a new Crime comics line to be published by the Texan comic book publisher. He writes,

BREAKING NEWS! AP has give me the go ahead to develop CRIME COMICS. I will be working on submission guidelines.

Best to wait on those guidelines before submitting. We have seen an increase in crime comic books in recent decades, much of it in the wake of the work of Ed Brubaker with Gotham Central through to Criminal with Sean Phillips. But there's still not a lot.

Will Antarctic Press be able to tap into what appears to be a relatively open market? Though they may want to placate the crowdfunding backers of Public Domain Comics and Jungle Comics first...
