And this is what they had to say.
Slow week. Star Wars made the number one spot but didn't sell nearly as quickly as the previous issue. Avengers Standoff Welcome to Pleasant Hill was barely a top ten. People flipping through the book were wondering why it had Avengers in the title when they weren't even in the comic let alone even mentioned. Amazing Spiderman 8 was dropped and put back by some pull list customers who just don't see Parker as a international business genius. Extraordinary X Men 7 still a solid selling book. 4.99 for Deadpool and Cable Split Second has people skipping it saying it isn't worth the higher price tag. DC didn't have much out this week. Starting to wonder if the comic sales drop reported nationally in January will be repeated this month. Hope not.
Interesting mix in our top ten. I Hate Fairyland has a VERY strong fan base here, allowing it to take a second spot for us. Same goes for Huck, Birthright, and Sex Criminals, but it seems like the delays on the latter are starting to effect it.
DC only has two books in the top ten, but it's been interesting to see Max Landis' American Alien slowly rise up the charts. I expect to see back issue of this become a hot commodity.DC barely squeaked into the Top Ten at our shop, with Batman & Robin Eternal taking the tenth spot. Otherwise,it was eight Marvel titles and one Image title–and that was in an ordinary week with no major blockbuster books! Can a Rebirth stop the lingering death of the DC legacy?

Strong interest in 1970s Marvel and DC titles this week.
A strong week for Marvel and Boom. We are are seeing a great new group of collectors Hunger for new product and a lot of licensed properties product. Rick and Morty and Walking Dead sales have almost tripled this month. We continue to see a slide on Dc comics and a switch over to Marvel and Indies. Trades sale also have had a nice 15% jump in preparation for this year's movies.
With the news of the DC relaunch, DC back issues have taken a turn for the worse, except for Harley Quinn and Suicide Squad.
Power Rangers #0 second printing was an EASY $13 on day of release based on the approximate 10% allocation.
Also had LOTS of people coming in looking for any and all Deadpool since the movie released. Comics, trades, hardcovers, YOU NAME IT!Too soon to tell, but it looks like the Adams covers at DC has done some wacky things to the sales numbers this week.
Star Wars #16 was the top dog with the only title selling in triple digits. The rest of the books sold well across the board.I am a little nervous about Avengers Standoff as an event. The next couple of issues had better knock people's socks off or it could be a stagnant seller like Original Sin and Axis.
I think that the back-issues in my store that sold this week may very well be the same as all the stores nation wide…Deadpool, Deadpool and a little bit more Deadpool for good measure.
