A Book Not Just For Batman Fans But Batman Collectors
Batman fans, get excited! Amberly Publishing will be releasing the book Batman Collectables by Rob Burman. He is Editor of Collectors Gazette, the world's only monthly newspaper dedicated to collecting. He is a huge fan of TV and film memorabilia and has been collecting vintage TV and film toys for more than 10 years, so putting together this was very fitting for him.
Batman Collectables is the first ever book of its kind, examining some of the best and some of the most unusual Batman collectables as well as looking at what might be collectable in the future. The book will be fully illustrated with photographs of the entire range of models and other memorabilia. It will appeal to those who remember the iconic 1966 television series just as much as to those captivated by Batman today.
Since he first appeared on the scene in Detective Comics No. 27 in May 1939, Batman has been a massive influence on popular culture. The Batman logo alone is so iconic, that I'm not sure I've ever met anyone that didn't recognize it. Batman is a huge deal, and all of us can understand that on some level. 2016 will be the 50th anniversary of the live action TV series, which is an exciting milestone for the character. Even if you're not a collector, Batman Collectables seems like it would be entertaining for everyone. The book will release on April 15th.
